Risk Control

Our Risk Control department is growing and welcomes resumes from Risk Control Associates, Senior Associates, and Consultants.

This is a full-time, hybrid position in our Rocklin, CA office. Salary range is $62,500-$118,500. The salary range encompasses entry-level associates through senior-level associates.

Role Description

The Risk Control Associate plays a crucial role in supporting risk management operations through collaboration within the department. Key responsibilities include service assignment coordination, database maintenance, and client education on the Learning Management System. This role currently offers a hybrid work schedule with three in-office days per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and track Risk Control service assignments for internal and independent risk consultants
  • Manage Risk Control records within the Underwriting platform
  • Communicate recommendations to policyholders and brokers, follow up, and track compliance
  • Manage, enroll, onboard, and respond to policyholder questions on the Risk Control Learning Management System
  • Address or direct policyholder and agency questions, service requests, and inquiries to Risk Control staff
  • Administrative Support
  • Assist with mail services
  • Scanning/printing projects
  • Assist with the development of policyholder training and educational materials
  • Proof consultant risk reports
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in insurance customer service or administrative support roles
  • Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or related work experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Workers’ Compensation, Risk Management, and Safety certifications (AINS, WCP, WCCP, ARM, SMS, ASP, CSP) are preferred
  • Basic understanding of California workers’ compensation insurance
  • Basic understanding of Cal/OSHA standards, rules, and regulations
